And if he wants to get away from the cold, he is more than welcome 'down under' – we are having some glorious spring days at the moment.

Oh, and bring Ringo so he can fully get over the flu he had a little while back, you can have a mini Beatle themed All-MacStarr band tour.

I was unsuccesful gaining tickets to see him at Maida Vale Studios the second time around :( It just really wasn't meant to be, I guess.

I felt a pain prick my heart when I read this. It would have been fun to read your report.

apple01apple01apple01  It would have been fun to be able to write one! :(

He did some giveways on twitter for UK fans for his up coming show.

He did giveaways for the ones that happened today, but I think the one on Friday is just a signing, not a show.

^^ When did he do that? I managed to miss it somehow (assuming Parlance let us know here). Do you have to be a 'twit', though? I don't have a Twitter account.

Edit: Parlance got in there first. I know he's doing a signing at the hmv shop on Friday, is that what the tickets are for? I wouldn't have thought you'd need tickets for that.

Yes, you do because he was asking questions on there. He then contacted you through your DM or tweeted your name.

The giveaways for the BBC shows I posted about here and at the news thread. For the signing, I've posted at the news thread and at the "New" thread. You should get a Twitter account if only to follow Paul and to be able to participate in these giveaways. They're going to give away 60 wristbands in all for the signing, and 20 are/were given away so far (they haven't announced the winners for the first 20 yet – maybe you still have a chance to get in under the wire?)

Oh, yeah. I was aware of the Q&A he did.

He think contacted you through your DM.

Sorry, don't know what you mean by that. I think you mis-typed something there. What's DM?

Yeah, I'm sure you would've posted about it, but I didn't check in here over the weekend. And I wasn't paying that much attention to anything before then, if I'm honest. I might make a twitter account, but I'm not sure. I really don't want one. I got rid of all that stuff last year and I've been better off since. What are the chances I'll win anyway? And then there's school, even if I do…. blue-meanie

Edit: Ah, okay, thanks sky. I'm not familiar with the twitter lingo.

Well, you have no chance if you don't enter, that's how I see it. ;-D Anyway, you could always make it a private account and/or you could always delete it after the initial marketing push is over.

Never hurts to try though. He has his #askMacca/#askMcCartney and I send in questions, whether he reads them or not. One day he might, but even if he doesn't its still all good fun.

This is way off-topic, sorry guys. Just one more question on the Twitter thing, what's the difference between a private account and a normal one?

I might do it, enter, then delete it. Would that be really unfair to everyone else?

No one can see your tweets in a private account unless you specifically give them access. But if you tweet @ someone, that person will see the tweets.

I don't think it's unfair. I imagine loads of people do it.

Good luck! I would love to see someone here win one of those things.

With a private account you get to choose who can see your tweets and who can follow you.

I don't think it would be unfair, for I mean you won fair and square.

Yeah, alright. I'm gonna do the private thing. I don't want to have a twitter account, but if I get a chance at these things then I guess it's worth it. I'll do it later. Thanks for the help girls :)
