OfflineI was just wondering if you guys are going to be buying the reissues(or if you already have). I'm a relatively new fan of The Beatles(not really, 2009) and I really didn't start getting into their solo stuff until last year, so I'm pretty esited about these and I'm planning on buying all of them, and I'm also going to get as many in the deluxe format as I can afford to keep the continuity. I've got Band on the Run in the deluxe format and for my birthday, my parents pre-ordered McCartney and McCartney II for me. I've also pre-ordered Chaos, Run Devil Run and Driving Rain.
Also, what albums are you guys most esited about being remastered? For me, it's Ram because that's my favorite Paul album and I'd love to have a physical copy of it. I have yet to listen to all his albums though, so Ram's my favorite as of right now, anyway!
*17* Paul's esited, too!

OfflineFor me, large portions of his catalogue are either on vinyl or not owned by me, so I want CD's of those, and then I'll replace the rest for continuity purposes. But I really want a copy of Ram.

OfflineI'm planning on getting all of Paul's albums that get remastered, and the one I'm most esited about would definitely be Ram. And that would be because Ram is probably my favorite album of Paul's(might be Chaos though) and I'd love to see the book for that if they release it in a deluxe format, which they most likely will. Also, because the vinyl I had for Ram got snapped in half by my little cousin so it's pretty hard to listen to now!

Online'Ram' is a great album. Might be his best. Paul is the master at melodies and putting together little parts from different songs and making them all fit together. I always felt this album was/is great 'car driving music'. I love to listen to this album while driving.

I definitely agree with you here. I love blasting Monkberry Moon Delight and Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey in my car with my hair and the windows down.
17…maybe that's exactly what Paul had in mind when recording it!

OfflineWell, apparently I offended people here with that joke. I won't make it again, but I think 75 billions posts here and elsewhere saying Ram is great is a bit much.

Yes, I'm buying the remasters. This will be the perfect way to acquire the Paul collection. I got the band on the run 2 cd set. Love it! I preordered the McCartney and McCartney II deluxe editions- got sucked in by the fancy sets haha. I've liked most of what I've heard by Paul solo so I figure it's worth it to get the collection as the remasters come out. I find Paul's music uplifting and to be good mood type of music.
Me to!!! (except McCartney II).

What about the 76 billion posts here and elsewhere saying "A Day in the Life" is great?

OfflineOh. Sort of like "I don't want to hear about how great it is! I want to be able to live normally without thinking constantly, 'Why don't I have it?'"

OfflineTo be perfectly honest, I don't see how people got in any way offended by my joke. I've been making those types of jokes for a long long time, and I don't see why people felt I was being serious or even thinking of it. I mean, I post enough here, so people should have known. Don't take everything I say seriously.
