Well, it's the HOLLYWOOD walk of fame, and you could argue (I could argue) that Paul deserved to be last by having had the least distinguished movie career of them all!

On that basis, Ringo surely deserved a Star(r) long before any of the others. (He was really funny in "The Magic Christian". And, uh, amusing in "Caveman".)

A Beatles Examiner report quoted Ana Martinez (the lady who was in charge of organising it all) as saying

In Paul McCartney's case, he'd been approved for his ceremony years ago. Honorees have five years to schedule their ceremonies. But his eligibility had actually expired, and needed to be reinstated. And it was, leading to the ceremony.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Paul was approved back in 1993 but it took so many years mainly down to scheduling difficulties.

Has Paul ever been up for these things refusing to accept a lifetime achievement award as he felt ...

I didn't find a thread like this (probably ther is still one but I just didn't find it) and so I decided to create a new thread. Paul was the last beatle to get a star at the hollywood walk of fame, even after ringo. I just don't understand. I mean he had the most succesful solo carreer and for me by far the best. Also I think he wrote the best beatles songs and he is one of the best bass guitarists in the world (and also a great guitarist). So why was he the last beatle to get ...
