Ok after listening to this..

and well listening to Something … I must confess that Paul is too damn good covering songs from George!!! Not better but fantastic versions (or IMHO). And I know this is quite ironic considering that George didn't want to work with Paul. a-hard-days-night-george-7a-hard-days-night-paul-2

Do you know some others covers he has done ?? Of course we also have Give Peace a Chance.

He did For You Blue, and also also played piano and sung backing to Eric Clapton's While My Guitar Gently Weeps at the Concert For George. I'll try and find clips.

Edit: Here is For You Blue

And While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Mr. SunKing,

Thanks for posting those! I had seen the While My Guitar Gently Weeps clip, but not For You Blue. It's one of my favorites by George, and Paul does a pretty good job of it.

Here's a medley containing "Strawberry fields forever/Help/Give peace a chance" from his 1990 world tour.

Not everyone's taste, I guess…

I agree that his cover of "All things must pass" is fantastic, especially from the "Concert for George".

Another thing:

While it's nice to have the youtube pictures as an appetizer, scrolling takes awfully long when there are too many of them…

No problem. I'm sorta the mail boy of the forum.

Edit: If You're quoting a passage to say thanks or cool video, don't quote the video as well.

Paul's voice sounds good no matter what he's singing

Ok now I feel as an idiot. I *do* have Concert for George but my DVD is not working so I haven't seen it… yet. I dunno why I feel that I'm going to cry all over it. I have to watch it then.a-hard-days-night-paul-3

Thanks for the links Sun King!! You're truly nice apple01apple01

I kind of like Strawberry Fields.. the voice sounds weird.. he should have sung it with his normal voice. I loved Help! a lot.

I try. Now, the reason I don't feel weird about these is that he does them sparingly.

I don't know how to post videos, but I remember seeing a short clip of him playing Yellow Submarine once.
