PM is in the building across the street from me.

I can see his car from my window.

How many of you would run down and wait by the door to catch a glimpse of him when he leaves?

Would you say anything? Bring him anything?

Would you check what you were wearing?

I'm thinking of having him my sign my Imagine album.

Stand there, whatever the weather, until he emerges, grab hold of him by the lapels, and scream into his face, "Who sung the fecking 'Aaahhhhs' on A Day in the Life?" Or else, get him to sign the album.

Also if it was me, I'd get him to sign my forearm, then, right after picking myself up off the floor, I would go and get it tattoed.

Then I would try to entice him to have just one more "sneaky puff"…  I'd entice him with my BC bud…   Okay I'm done fantasizing now.  a-hard-days-night-paul-7 heartheartheart

Mine seems a bit boring, but I would shake his hand and say thank you. Maybe I have him sign something or me (like LongHairedLady) and get it tattooed. Check what I'm wearing? Idk if I'd have the time or would be thinking straight cause I would go into a panic attack.

I'd like to think I could stay composed and not be a freak, but I don't think I would.  I would just get all flustered.  a-hard-days-night-paul-3

Oh, and I would definitely get him so sign my RAM album.  That would be awesome.  heart

Me too. lol But lets face it I went to bit of a freak out mode when I found out he was an hour from me at an airport and in New Orleans (two hours from me) mingling with normal people on a street car, so theres no telling what I would do if I saw in him in person.

Maybe I wouldn't do anything though, maybe I'd be to in awed. I was kind like that at the Ringo concert. I thought I would be screaming and old people would look, but nope I was quiet listening to the music thinking "I'm actually seeing a Beatle OMG".

That was true for me too when I saw Paul in concert.  I thought I would freak but most of the time I was just stunned.  Every once in a while I would throw the binoculars on and just stare at him like "Oh my God, it's him..   I am in the same room as Paul Freaking McCartney"..  a-hard-days-night-john-3

Not this time.

I met him many, many years ago in his in-law's kitchen (of all places). He was with Linda.

Hello, hello, shook their hand, and they left.

I also once literally ran into him while jogging on the beach ('scuse me, 'scuse me), but that was even further back. He was playing with his son (3 yrs old? 4 years old?) by the water's edge.

These were both so long ago that it feels like another lifetime. Wouldn't mind another encounter!

Exactly…

Linda was quite friendly considering she didn't know us. Same with PM.

(too bad there were no cell phone/videos back then…)

Yeah, same for me with the Ringo concert (not the Paul concerts, though). But with the Ringo concert, that morning I touched Ringo's hand, and he gave me a wristband, so I guess I couldn't have gotten too much more excited than I already was anyways.

Not really sure if he would approve the joke though xD.

I actually would find any encounter with Paul unsatisfactory that didn't allow me to ask him about 50 questions and listen to his answers.  How do you like them apples.heartapple01
