I had never heard the song before so I checked it out. It's okay, but funk is all about the drums and unfortunately the drums aren't too great on this track. Had Paul flown in Ziggy Modeliste from New Orleans to get on the kit, then I would consider it a solid funk effort, but alas, it was not to be. Nice riff though, although I still think Coming Up is Paul's best funky song.

I've been listening to this on my record player every night while I go to sleep. It's amazing, and I never really appreciated it until now. I love it, and the riffs keep playing in my head long after the song is over!

But... needs more guitar.

The cowbell, the funky bass, the funky guitar riff in the verses and choruses.

So simple, and FUNKY!!!
