Could well do, you could maybe post a couple of pics on his Facebook/send them on Twitter etc. His people might notice them….or you could befriend security on the day and ask them very nicely if you could meet Paul (and don’t forget to bat your eyelashes 😛 ).

Offline Wow…. major disappointment to digest here.
The timetable for Pinkpop has been announced. Paul will only be on stage for 90 minutes (22:00-23.30h). That must be his shortest gig since what, the Beatles? Perhaps he did shorter shows in the seventies, I don’t know, but it was nearly 3 hours last year, and doesn’t he usually do at least 2 hours on festivals? This really makes me very sad. I mean, yeah, it’s still Paul. It’ll still be good. But just 90 minutes…. Yeah, I really have to digest this. I’m actually very sad right now. Like, on the verge of tears sad….

Alright, I had my pity party and I’m moving on. Sort of….haha! I’m still disappointed, of course. I recall how quickly those 3 hours passed, so half of that will feel like just a few minutes. But it doesn’t do to dwell, so I’ll just have to enjoy myself twice as much. And, I may have figured out how to actually make it to the front of the crowd. Not long, now. can’t wait!

Come on, wouldn’t you be disappointed if you went to a concert and you only got half a set? I can bet Paul won’t be too chuffed about it, either. It means having to cut songs he always does, and/or not being able to do any of the ones he (re-)introduced for this tour. It’s not just Paul, mind. All acts have ridiculously small slots. I don’t know what Pinkpop is playing at, but they’re not doing their visitors any favours. Everyone’s complaining about it. It’s a stupid tactic, especially since Paul – and several other Pinkpop acts – will play normal festival sets at Rock Werchter, two weeks after Pinkpop. He’s playing 2 hours and 15 minutes there, possibly longer. That’s almost a full concert.
Anyway, I’ll still have fun. It’ll just be over very soon.
