It's on heavy rotation in my car and I have to say:

This is one of his best albums.

And while I understand his intentions behind not making it an "official" Macca album I wish it was, so more people would be aware of this fantastic album and his musical facets.

He still got a lot of nice press and played two songs on his recent tour, so it surely isn't that much of a secret anymore, luckily!

Two major themes stick out: Love and Light/Sun.

Well I found this topic so I didn't need to open one.

 

Man, this album blew me away. I got it when I saw it in a record store weeks ago and when I played it … BAM!! That song that Joe posted blew me away. I mean, if you don't pay attention to the lyrics, it's sexy, fun, kinky, dirty, awesome. Very Helter Skelter. I love Traveling Light (like listening to a dream) Highway (very fun), Lifelong Passion (another dreamlike song). I just can't get tired of listening to it.

IF you listen to "Nothing to Much..." it sounds more like Youth singing than Paul. The best song on the album is "Light from your Lighthouse"!
