Probably by constantly looking at my (hopefully) tickets. In all seriousness, probably by listening to BOTR, WATSOS, and the rest of his work.

I tried to think of something powerful and moving… and failed.  "You were given a choice between war and dishonor - you chose dishonor, and you shall have war" - Winston Churchill

On Saturday, I will sleep in, in celebration of his birthday because I have school on Friday. Then, I will bake a cake, and eat it, because I won't be in Napa Valley to celebrate. And then, I will listen to some of his solo work, and wear my Macca shirt. After that, I will look for frames to frame two McCartney posters that I need to put up. Or just find tape to do it.

Oh! I can wear my concert shirt. a-hard-days-night-paul-5I'm kind of protective of it, but once a year should be alright…a-hard-days-night-paul-7

I have a family reunion that day, so I am going to wear my Paul shirt that has pics from throughout his life to it. I'll play his music throughout the day, obviously. Maybe I'll buy a cupcake.

Also, I bet Paul thinks it's funny that he is turning 69.

Did any of you see the video of Paul after the Love show with him and Nancy walking out? He starts singing, "Will you still need me, will you still feed me…" and they both finish, "when I'm 74." How cute is that?

No I haven't… that should be nice.. I guess.

Who am I kidding? I'm jealous of Nancy. There. I said it. Anyway I'll watch that video a-hard-days-night-paul-8

Oh Skye that's a great idea of wearing the T-shirt from the concert!! And you can handwash your t-shirt. A few months ago I put mine by accident in the washing machine and I freaked when I discovered it, a-hard-days-night-ringo-6 but then I saw it and it didn't have any  damage. Phew a-hard-days-night-george-8

Mhh food. I have no idea what to eat to celebrate Macca …. any suggestions guys? a-hard-days-night-ringo-7

How about Macca-roni and cheese?

We'll be in Vegas, hopefully watching LOVE.

Why? Because he's almost 70?

Ah. I'm with my dad on Paul's birthday… and he doesn't know how to use an oven, so I doubt he'll allow me to make a cake >:/ Akk. My plans are foiled. I don't know what I'll do.

If a Beatles fan is invited, why would it be boring? a-hard-days-night-ringo-8

Maybe you can make one of those non-baking cakes or cookies. I have this one, maybe you can try it. I'm actually going to prepare this tomorrow!

Carlota de Limon.

Maria cookies (or any cookies that are a. round b. without sugar nor coating on it)

condensed milk

evaporated milk

Lemons.

- Prepare lemon juice until you have 2 cups.

- Mix in the blender the condensed milk and the evaporated milk. Add the lemon juice. That makes the milk to smooth. You have to be careful because it will look like the milk is going to be spoiled, but not. That's the idea.

- Add a layer of the mix of milk and juice in a crystal recipient. Then, add the Marias cookies making a layer. Continue until you finish the mix.

- Have it in the freezer for at least 2 hrs before you serve. It's served cold.

Here's you have 2 youtube videos in Spanish so you have an idea how to prepare it. It's quite easy to do and it's not that expensive. I'm not sure if you can find these kinds of milk where you live though.

I won't. I might think at some point in the day "it's Paul's birthday", but I won't do anything special. It's not like it's someone I know, or a round number.

And I neeeeeeeeed her all the time

I want to make my own custom printed-out Paul shirt today so I can wear it on Saturday.  I also want to make buffalo wings so I can call them Paul McCartney and Buffalo Wings a-hard-days-night-george-8  Being a person that is in to cupcakes, I will make cupcakes and put a little Paul silhouette on the top, using album art from Help!, the picture where they are jumping, etc.

Aww Walrus the idea is to have some fun a-hard-days-night-john-2 But I get your point. I think the Beatles are the only famous people I say "Oh today it's George, or Paul or Ringo or John's birthday"

BTW I'm working on Paul's birthday all day. I mean, I'm glad because I do need the money, but to be honest, I hate working on Saturdays afternoon. a-hard-days-night-paul-3

Ak. I know. When I tell everyone else that it's one of the Beatles' birthdays, they just shrug it off. But yeah, it's just for fun. I think I'll also wear all blue, his favourite colour. I don't have a Macca shirt :/

It's the 18th in Australia, so… Happy birthday, Paul! May you have many, many more to come!

Mith, I'm certain that you posted that recipe on here a long time ago. Thanks for reminding me, cos I wanted to try and make it. a-hard-days-night-john-6
