Sadly some people still see Paul just as the bossy egomaniac and workaholic who pressed the others and kept on a mask of an overly optimistic thumbs up smile while taking himself way to seriously.
Mostly the same people recognize him for two or three good rock songs but still call him a sweet ballad singer.
This is not a nice image, and it doesn't do Paul justice at all!
We don't seem to have enough compilation threads going, so let's put up some collection to prove the Naysayers wrong and show them the fun-personality of Paul!
1) Monkberry Moon delight
2) Light of your lighthouse
3) Sally G
4) Mr. Morse Moose and the Flying Goose
5) Dress me up as a robber
6) Ou est le soleil
7) Nineteenhundred and Eightyfive
8) Coming up
9) Front Parlour
10) You gave me the answer
12) Vintage clothes
13) Big boys bickering
14) We all stand together!

I think the party line on Paul isn't that he has no sense of humour, more like he actually indulges his whimsical side TOO MUCH. I would never accuse the writer of "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" or "Silly Love Songs" of being humourless!
