As I said: it's overplayed in my head (maybe elsewhere as well). I could live for another 37 years without listening to the title track again. 1985 is cooooool, though. I just can't get enough of that sweet stuff…

I'd love to tell you my opinion, but I don't have it – YET! I definitely have to change that. Loved "Sing the changes" in his concerts!

But that project is always good to shut up people calling him too sweet and nice…

Kedame said it earlier. You need to get Electric Arguments, but like "open-your-itunes-now-and-get-it!".The album is powerful, I mean, you can't be like "meh?" after you listen to it. It's not what you usually get from Macca, but by God, you can't expect less. It's funky, dirty, sexy, fun and yet, soothing and mature. And it sounds more modern than some albums that were released that year. My favorite tracks are "Nothing is too much just out of sight" (and one of my top 5 Paul songs), "Traveling Light", "Highway","Light from your lighthouse","Sun is shining", "Dance till we're high", "Lifelong passion", "Lovers in a Dream" and "Universal Here Everlasting Now".

Again Paulsbass this is electronic music. I love it, that's why this is one of my top Paul albums. But even if you don't like it, you might enjoy it anyway. a-hard-days-night-paul-8

Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie…… Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower… Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go. Beware of Darkness…  I believe in SH...

Ok, ok, it'll be my next purchase! But I don't believe in Itunes – I'll get the CD. And I LOVE his "usual" kind of electronic stuff, like Out est le soleil or Secret friend or Pretty little head.

Anyway, here are some of my favourite McCartney tunes.

My total favourite right now could be "Ever present past" from "Memory almost full". Great playing and singing by Paul (cembalo in the bridge!) and great pop feeling.

Also the before-mentioned "How kind of you" (Chaos and creation). Just beautiful. All instruments by Paul again.

Another less known favourite is "The loveliest thing", recorded with Billy Joel's band and produced by Phil Ramone.

Although "Driving rain" has some weaker songs it's also filled with lovely, heartfelt love songs – as long as you can live with the fact they're for Heather… One of the best is "Your way", typical Paul simple genius…

The new single for his "All the best" 1987 was "Once upon a long ago", a great tune with Nigel Kennedy on the violin.

Working my way back "Press to play" is next with the opener "Stranglehold". Powerful song. Edit: Sorry, now I think "Good times coming/Feel the sun" is even more representative. So here it comes. Love his bass playing in this one. Carlos Alomar plays guitar here.

There should be a song from "Back to the egg", so here's "So glad to see you here", with Dave Gilmour, Pete Townshend, John Paul Jones, John Bonham, Hank Marvin, Ray Cooper etc. etc…. Enjoy!!

Since everbody knows his big songs from the 70s here a fan cult item from "Ram": "Monkberry Moon Delight", a worthy last song on this list… Paul at his sweetest and nicest!
