I just repeat my impression that it is his best solo album.

Most of the songs are great, but if you don't like Heather Mills, some of the songs may make you groan a little when you realize they are most likely about her. I think all the songs are pretty good, but Vanity Fair, Friends To Go and Too Much Rain would be my favorites from it! Fine Line is a great opener. I don't really like How Kind of You all that much, but Jenny Wren is a really nice song. It has the same kind of acoustic fingerpicking as in Blackbird. At the Mercy is a bit forgettable, but Friends to Go is pretty good.
English Tea is very... English, I guess? It's very cheesy, but it's a good song none-the-less. Not really a heavyweight lyrically, but it's a fun song. I don't even remember Too Much Rain, to be honest. a-hard-days-night-paul-1
