        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>You can get a lot of perspective on how good a song is as time passes by.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>For instance, 'Another Day'...Now, McCartney was being universally slagged by the critics at this time, and of course John Lennon also took a shot at this song...But, truth is, this was a beautiful pop song, with a number of sections that flow seamlessly together, a kind of Spanish/Latin feel, great understated arrangement, and sweet harmony from his wife, all mixed together great.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The people certainly loved it, for good reason...It would have been a number one <span style="text-decoration: underline">Beatles</span> single.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>You should check out things like <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqrHkVzTutU">Broomstick</a> (laid back but quite soulful i find), <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzQAIRkzVk0">Atlantic Ocean</a> (a really cool upbeat tune which powers along), <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLtgUX0qXvM">Love Come Tumbling Down</a>, and <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-lhpz7-cjA">Same Love</a> (gorgeous ballads), all from the Flaming Pie singles released at that time. Just fabulous tracks that would have such good additions to his albums. Paul recorded some of them for an unreleased album in the 80's which had some great tracks (some released at the time of Flaming Pie) that deserve a more prominent release. Or just release a rarities album that brings together the obscure b-sides that have been 'lost' thru the ...]]></description>

I Look at the Floor said: "My favorite post-Beatles Paul song is definitely Back Seat of My Car"</p>
<p>"Back Seat of My Car" would be in my "honorable mention" category.</p>
<p>What's fascinating, is that Paul can be heard playing that song during the <em>Get Back</em> sessions in January '69.</p>
<p>The song didn't make it onto <em>Abbey Road</em>, didn't make it onto <em>Let It Be</em>, didn't make it onto <em>McCartney</em>, didn't make it onto<em> Wild Life</em>, didn't make it onto any single, and FINALLY surfaced on <em>Ram</em> – as the LAST song!</p>
<p>Based on that pedigree, you'd think it was a pretty weak song.</p>
