I love the fact the Paul rocked harded then the pthers after the boys broke up. Especially since he was always label the sappiest of the four. (I mean, come on, Helter Skelter?) So, although I LOVE his ballads and slower songs and midtempo jams, I prefer his harder rockin' tracks:

For instance, 'Another Day'...Now, McCartney was being universally slagged by the critics at this time, and of course John Lennon also took a shot at this song...But, truth is, this was a beautiful pop song, with a number of sections that flow seamlessly together, a kind of Spanish/Latin feel, great understated arrangement, and sweet harmony from his wife, all mixed together great.

The people certainly loved it, for good reason...It would have been a number one Beatles single.

I really like many McCartney songs, but I think my fevourite one is Maybe I'm Amazed, but I also like Jet, Band On The Run, Live and Let Die, Silly Love Songs, Listen To What The Man Said, Mull of Kintyre and Ebony and Ivory very much. "Back Seat of My Car" would be in my "honorable mention" category.

What's fascinating, is that Paul can be heard playing that song during the Get Back sessions in January '69.

The song didn't make it onto Abbey Road, didn't make it onto Let It Be, didn't make it onto McCartney, didn't make it onto Wild Life, didn't make it onto any single, and FINALLY surfaced on Ram – as the LAST song!

Based on that pedigree, you'd think it was a pretty weak song.
