iTunes appears to be realeasing the love album in the middle of February. I wouldn't find this that interesting except that they are realeasing bonus versions of Girl and The Fool On The Hill. If you go to the itunes store you can listen to previews.
*17* has to be good
You can now download The Beatles 'Love' album on iTunes effective yesterday. Initially, iTunes was not going to make available the songs 'Fool On The Hill' & 'Girl' unless you downloaded the entire album but they have changed their mind. You can now download these exclusive bonus tracks for a $1.29 each.
Also, they have made available the DVD Audio versions of 'Revolution' & Back In The USSR' which are longer and the full versions. The CD had the edited versions and the only way you could get these versions was to purchase the double CD/DVD package. Both these songs are the same price as above.
Just wanted to keep everyone updated! (Please see Wikipedia.org for more info)
I thought the Girl mix was nice (particularly the acoustic guitars from And I Love Her), but found The Fool On The Hill a bit uninteresting. The Martins don't seem to have done much with it.
Here's a breakdown of the remixes: http://forgetthebox.tumblr.com…..unes-today

The Fool on the Hill -
Within You Without You- Tambura drone, throughout
Because- Bass part, throughout
Maxwell's Silver Hammer- Drums (1:55-2:08)
Mother Nature's Son- Instrumentation and Vocals (2:35-2:48)
Dear Prudence- Piano trills (1:55-2:08)
I Am the Walrus- Sliding Cello, each chorus and fadeout?
The celeste/bells part is from The Fool on the Hill, buried in the final mix.

OfflineOh girl…I like that version, but then again it's my favorite Beatle song so it wasn't too tough of a sell. I like the intro to Fool on the Hill, but I wouldn't say the Mother Nature's Son combination works that well at the end. It almost sounds like you can hear John's "shoot me" from Come Together in the chorus.
Are these songs supposed to fit somewhere specifically on the album or are they just bonus tracks? I'd guess the latter, but I think I'll try to fit Girl on there somewhere, maybe in the middle.

They are listed at the Back of the album, so as Bonus Tracks
Both 'Fool On The Hill' and 'Girl' were supposed to be in the show in Vegas and were mixed for that but Martin decided to pull it because they couldn't find the right spot to fit it in. Supposedly these were the only two songs that were rejected.

OfflineI got the album today, and let me say, it is fantastic. Each song flows together and sometimes I could barely tell the songs had changed. While my guitar gently weeps is my favorite song remix so far, but I haven't finished listening to it (I just got it), so it could change. This makes me want to see the show even more. Really good.

OfflineI only just heard this full cd yesterday and I'm already a huge fan of it. I loved the way
and Giles redid the songs and now I really want to buy "The Fool On The Hill" and "Girl" remxes. But I am poor and my parents would probably get mad if I bought just two songs on iTunes.

OfflineOkay, Help! I've just started importing all of my albums onto iTunes. I don't know why, but the album artwork isn't showing for any of the stereo remasters, or the Anthologies.
I also have Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road in the mono format and those have both worked fine, as has Love, as has every other album I've tried so far.
Google didn't really help me much. Has anybody else had this problem? I'm also pretty new to iTunes in general, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
(This isn't massively to do with the title, I know, but I didn't want to start a new thread just to showcase my inability to use computers.

OfflineYour problem is this: The album title is Help [2009 Stereo Remaster]. Delete the 2009 shit and you can get the artwork.

Thank you, it was obviously going to be something simple. Is there anyway to change this without importing the albums again?

Use a different music player. iTunes is second only to WMP in the amount of trouble it will cause you. Try winamp, MediaMonkey or Songbird, or even Spotify. Additionally, it is generally cheaper to purchase music from other sources.
Comments like are a bit odd without further explanation. I've been using iTunes since 2001 and have never had any trouble with it. I've never particularly enjoyed using Winamp or WMP, and don't particularly feel the need to investigate other players.
Spotify, if anything, is easy to use because it's so similar to the iTunes UI – songs laid out in a single window, filters for artists, genre etc, a search function that works, ability to create and reorder playlists. The recent bloatware in iTunes (eg Ping) I could do without, and in fact do so.
