Every song is nice to hear in the album, but I have to mention that since I only listen to most of the tracks in Mono if available, the Hey Jude bass riff sounds nice, and this is the only time I could listen to it.

I find it quite enjoyable. It was the first CD with Beatles songs on it that I ever owned, specifically picked because it had the greatest number of songs I was interested in that was in my price range at the time. I had learned of a few of the songs on a movie that I had watched, but the movie didn't play the entire songs, so I was left incredibly curious. The result of me getting the CD was slightly problematic because I did not know that they had used various intros and the like for some songs. The ones ...

I haven't seen the show, but this CD is a good 'stand-alone' album, if you see what I mean. It's good to hear new takes on the songs- and for the most part, they are excellent. There are lots of brilliant moments, but my favourite is at the end of 'Here Comes the Sun', when the backing of 'The Inner Light' plays. I know it sounds weird, but it makes me imagine George and Olivia joining hands and walking off into the sunset.

I think the same.. I like much more the song without the violins and stuff. George's voice and acoustic guitar is enough for me

And I think this album is so beautiful! "Tomorrow never knows/Within you without you" is so magical. I just love it.

"Drive My Car"/"The Word"/"What You're Doing" is just so fun. And like someone said: it needs more of "The word" I get upset just listening to that tiny part. I mean, It's a great song! Great version though.

Ive never felt anything good for the Love version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps. It sounds like George is playing with some piece of orchestral work being recorded next door at the same time. Give me the naked demo.

As a Beatles purist, I expected to hate this album. I'd heard George Martin had been hired to mash up the original Beatles' recordings for Cirque, and I thought "oh man, this is going to be an absolute mess... George, how could you do it??"

Then I heard a sample -- the brilliant blending of "Tomorrow Never Knows" with "Within You Without You", and I thought "I should have known better!"

George Martin and his son Giles did a magnificent job, for the most part anyway, and there are times I actually prefer these recordings to the orginal releases... not ...
