Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band added to Iceland Airwaves | Fab forum

Sean Lennon allways directs all of his Mom's Plastic Ono bands performance's and also performs on stage with her and the band. So I am sure he will be there to with Yoko on stage in Iceland.Also every year on October 9th on John's birthday Yoko and Sean travel to Reykjavík for the lighting of the Imagine Peace Tower.

The Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band, formed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono before the dissolution of the Beatles, joins Polaris Music Prize Winner Owen Pallett, synth siren Glasser and Bristol’s Zun Zun Egui on this year’s Iceland Airwaves line-up.The festival, which runs from of October 12-16th 2011 in Reykjavík, also sees more Icelandic additions, including GusGus, For a Minor Reflection, Kippi Kaninus and Mógil. Among those already announced for the festival are hometown girl Björk and The Line of Best Fit favourites Niki & the Dove and Beach House.
