But I think John would have mellowed quite a bit by this time so he probably would think it's funny. In some of his interviews, Johh talked about having the "artistic trip" where he would always want to make better music than he previously made and so that's why he had so many sort of negative comments about the whole Beatles thing. Reminds me of how he was so over the Beatles legacy in the 70s, but he still sent people out to buy memorabilia. He downplayed his relationships with the others, but he was still peeved when George didn't mention him enough in I, Me, Mine, and he watched the James Paul McCartney special.
