Well I think if John was still here he would still be making music and being himself. (And probably totally trolling the internet as others mentioned before.) I've just got to say that if John and George would be get off my lawn screamers I would probably just laugh so hard I'd fall down on their lawn and then never get up.

Causing them to scream some more and perpetuating a vicious circle…
It's quite possible John would be living on the coast of Ireland or wherever it was, but I just can't see him staying far out of the spotlight for long.

I read a rock music critic once who said that John would probably have immersed himself in "World Music." The writer said, "Imagine the Graceland John Lennon would have produced!"

Yeah so I think John would have an awesome Twitter account. He would troll the internet like no ones business. I imagine him making fun of Paul every once in a while. He would still make music but lik an album every 5 years or so. He would watch the Jersey Shore. He would not like "(s)he who must not be named". He and Yoko would have divorced in '86 and remarry. He would hate Heather Mills. He would suport Obama and not Bush. He would have given a benefit concert fir 9/11 whether he still lived in America or not. He would be an angry old man. There would be a cool ass meme ir viral video of him. He would fail Beatles Rockband.

I seriously doubt he would have been an angry old man, especially because of most of the things he said did during the 1980, it looked like he was finally being more open with his emotional side.
Talking about rockband…. could you imagine playing with john Lennon using Wi-Fi Connection? i hope he also plays Mario kart
And i have also heard about John probably having a twitter account
Maybe in the 80`s he would have reunited the Beatles or at least start a new era in the Lennon/McCartney partnership, maybe even the new Lennon/McCartney/Harrison partnership( could you imagine the "A day in the life" of this partnership?)

Most of above… I think he would have been a nice man. I can't imagine his reaction towards 9/11…. he'd be furious.
I'd be proud of Sean and Julian. And I can imagine him experimenting with electronic music…..

He'd be living off the coast of Ireland, looking at his scrapbook of madness with Yoko.
Most importantly, John would be an artistic voice speaking out against the madness that is the current state of the world. He'd have the courage to speak out, the courage that no one seems to have anymore, not Dylan, not Bono.

These are definatly ways I would have imagined him! And being trolled by John Lennon would be the coolest thing to happen to anyone on the internet.
