Here's a Vanity Fair article that imagines an interview with John in 2010. I thought it was tremendously tasteful, creative and well-written and made me laugh and feel sad in equal measure.

I just loved the idea of Yoko introducing John to Lee Ranaldo and them collaborating on an acclaimed noise-rock record, sounds incredibly plausible and would almost certainly be incredible- like John's Chaos and Creation in the Backyard. Not so sure I liked the idea of 1987's "Everest" though, I think the Beatles, in the face of a large-scale comeback like that, would put the traditional amount of artistic care into the cover.
