Yeah Yoko has got a huge underground fanbase that cant get enough of her music and there are many famous artists who have remixed her work. Everyone is different and thats whats so good about music.

I recently listened to Death of Samantha, and I thought it was okay. I like that "I'm a cool chick, baby," part. On the whole, though, I don't think I could ever make it through an entire Yoko album. It just isn't my style, though I know some people love it and see it as the ultimate "art."

I personally love Kiss,Kiss,Kiss.It's my favorite Yoko song ever and I think it's really catchy.I do think the part at the end is unnecessary,the first few times of listening to it was hard to get through and I laughed but now I can get through the song just fine.I sort of think her voice is pretty but only in some songs.

Well...Hearing that song about Kyoko, Mummy's only looking for her hand in the snow, must be the most unpleasant music experience I have had. But other than that... I'm fine with Yoko Her music isn't the kind I personally go for, but it's freat for whatthefuckthisis's. And I actually like walking on thin ice. I do think she is able to sing beautifully if she wants to, but it's just not her kind of thing to do so.

I'm not so keen on Yoko's vocals either, but I do enjoy Kiss Kiss Kiss as well as Give Me Something off Double Fantasy as I find them both quite funny, especially the bird noises she makes in the beginning of the latter. I also think her voice is quite fitting for Happy X-Mas (War Is Over) and Sunday Bloody Sunday.

I actually think Luck of the Irish isn't so bad on Yoko's part. Maybe I'm just forgetting because I haven't heard it in awhile, but I seem to recall that I reluctantly liked the song.

Youre right Zig, ive deleted STINYC from memory (hey that nearly looks like stinky which it rightly does). Tho Baby Please Dont Go from the jam side isnt too bad. Ive just had flashbacks of Luck Of The Irish on the Lennon Anthology - *body shivers in horror at Yoko's vocals*.

I could be wrong, but I believe Some Time in New York City was the first shared post-Beatles album.

Yeah...I don't really prescribe to Yoko's brand of singing, either. It's not my cup of tea. I actually found Double Fantasy at the record store the other day for really cheap, but I didn't buy it because I knew I wouldn't listen to it without being able to skip her songs. I've read a lot of people in the internet land say they like her voice, but I just...I can't. Before I even knew who she was, I heard that yelping thing that she had going on at a museum, and I was horrified. Ouch...I don't much care for Sean's ...

Strangely when it was JohnandYoko in the early 70's they had separate albums, tho at times joint singles. It was only with Double Fantasy that the shared albums began, Milk and Honey would have been the same even if John had been alive.

I have a policy to not listen to Yoko, so much so i didnt by Double Fantasy Stripped until a download offer came along that allowed me to buy just the John songs for a good price.

The sounds (lets not call it music) that John and the POB managed to create backing isnt that bad but Yoko's squealing, ...

I'm with you on that. Whether the songs are hers or his, she should never have a microphone in front of her. I do not dislike her as a person but wish she would limit her singing to the shower. I really like her song "We're All Water" from Some Time in New York City because the lyrics are funny. But then at the end, she stops singing and starts...well...l'm not sure what ...
