I seem to remember reading that around 2000 or so the John Lennon catalogue was remixed. Does anyone know if these were released separately or as part of a box set?
The 2010 “signature box” is the original mixes, remastered…and this is the version I own.
Does anyone have more info about these remixed albums, or an opinion as to the sound?

After checking my collection i can confirm i have the 2000 re mixes of “plastic ono band” and “imagine”. The sound is a lot louder (noise reductioned too) than the 70s mixes but their is a lot more clarity in the vocals which is particularly nice on the former. Ono supervised the mixes and i actually think she did a great job. The strings on “how do you sleep” sound as malevolent as fuck.
As far as i know they were only released individually, some of them have bonus tracks. “plastic ono band” has “do the oz/Power To The People ” rather oddly for instance as it doesn’t fit the chronology. Booklets are much better than the previous CDs though.
