Is Honey Boo Boo considered a modern day poet?

Having spent 13 seconds googling it i'd go with a please god no. If so we really need to take a look where the world is going.

Yeah, let's leave it if she is, she is or if she is no she is not. I can never keep my eye on her. Nothing with that family I like.

I'd rather leave it that she is not.

K. I would rather leave it like that. All the crap she's done. Now let's move on shall we?

Very very very happily and not too soon.

Paul has worn pink shirts of various shades over years.

As I said before the interruption, definitely a pink skirt… and pink shoes…

And there, under the table, a child's alphabet block with the letter "D" on it, a rug, and another child's alphabet block with the letter "S" on it. Say what you see, D+rug+S!

Just stirring – but a shirt is one thing – and a dress quite another :)

And he looks good in pink. Perhaps John thought so too.

Maybe John would have liked your avatar of Paul as well.

Here's something interesting.  John on why he almost killed Bob Wooler:  "I must have been frightened of the fag in me to get so angry."

Haven't seen that before? Is that from an interview, or from someone repeating something John supposedly said to them? I can't imagine that's a first person quote.

It is in fact a first person quote, from Anthology page 98.

That's interesting. I must have read it before. I'll have to pull out my copy and see where they source it to.

As you know, ExTex, John often said things for effect. I'll see if I can find that full quote.

I got suspicious of quotes back in the '80s when Dezo Hoffman published a book of his photographs of the group called With The Beatles, and on the back cover it had a quote from John, "…Dezo Hoffman was the best photographer in the world". When you find the actual quote, the full line is, "At the time, we believed Dezo… etc.", which kind of changes of it. Not a lie, but not the truth.

As for John's quote above about being frightened of his inner gay, I don't there's much chance it was taken out of context.  It's pretty straightforward in the text.

Has anyone heard of the audio diary from the late 70's. Theres a clip on you tube from a demo and he mentions that he groped his mom. I skipped the rest to the demos. But he basically said it was a sexual urge. That being said that it was wrong and creepy but a hetero urge, his first I belive he said. I think he just had a huge sexual appetite, and didnt know how to satisfy it. It would of ended up in lyrics and I just dont hear it.

The, or at least one diary tape (running time 13:43) has been heavily bootlegged. I haven't listened to it yet as its meant to be an unsettling experience and shatters the illusion (again) of endless bright sunny days of John breaking bread whilst Yoko happily skips to and from work whistling Hi-Ho.

Will shove it on my ipod and try and get thru it, listening to one of your idols spouting rage and bile is not the easiest thing to do however. Maybe its better than i have been led to believe and John is his normal lovable self (as promoted and marketed by The John Lennon Estate).
