I think is the only site or place where I can express my love for The Beatles. Apparently society has a thing against teenage girls liking 70 year old men a-hard-days-night-george-10 Whether they’re did or not AND it’s also the only place I can get excited about a new Paul McCartney album and not got laughed at AND the only place I know where every musician I like is known by everybody else AND finally everybody here knows who Dhani Harrison is. The amount of times I have gotten the response “Who?” *sigh*
Interesting fact: I hate when anybody asks who my celebrity crush is. Eh a 70 year old dead man or his equally attractive 35 year old, unknown son…… a-hard-days-night-george-10

^^^^ “[the Beatles Bible forum is] the only place I can get excited about a new Paul McCartney album and not got laughed at AND the only place I know where every musician I like is known by everybody else…”

That was what I was trying to ascertain in my topic I put up back in June, Question for the young Beatles fans here.  I suspect it’s more common for the young whippersnappers like apparently AppleScruff’s schoolmates to disdain the Beatles for being “old” and uncool, and it’s somewhat rare for them to actually like the Beatles — except insofar as it might be thought cool to consider them “retro”.

Sometime in the future, after a successful day of litigation in court, you may decide to stop off at a fast food restaurant for a quick bite to eat.

When one of your former classmates asks you if you want to super-size your order, you will have the last laugh.pete-best

I’m going to be 50 years old next month and I am all SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAMY inside waiting for the NEW album to show up on my front porch next Tuesday. God , I hope I never outgrow The Beatles.

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Every day i check in here lately it seems that we have more and more new members.  Old threads from 2 years ago are getting bumped and familiar topics are getting new threads, attacking them from different angles.

Maybe it’s the Breaking Bad echo effect, maybe it’s the new Paul album, maybe it’s the new BBC set, or maybe it’s just a new surge of music fans who are rejecting the terrible pop music landscape and seeking something meaningful…

Whatever it is, I like it.

Maybe it’s the Breaking Bad echo effect, .

I’d had hopes that somebody would’ve revived the Badfinger thread after the final episode aired, myself.

You know…  We could always just start a Breaking Bad thread…

I’m sure it would be sparsely populated at first, but with enough time we might pick up a few new fans.

We could discuss the music used in the show, the themes, the actors, the Easter eggs…

I’m just glad to see so many new faces here with the enthusiasm of new fans.

I live in Thailand…….A friend of mine has a son of 15 and a daughter of 6. They are half-Thai. Recently he has been almost ordered to play The Beatles ‘No 1s’ dvd in the car as he takes to, or collects his kids from school. His 6 year old in particular is transfixed by the Beatles.

:-) Raising them right. I’m sure you can help your friend feed his children’s Beatlemania.
