Offline I didn’t get an email notification for some PMs I got today. This is a problem, because the PM number won’t go to 0, so I ignored the fact that I had 6 PMs. I only noticed because I was trying to go to my profile to edit my signature and I accidentally clicked PMs.
EDIT: I got the notification for the last PM I got, about 5 minutes ago.,

Offline I set my birthday up as the 22nd March 2013 (see here, there is a few posts above giving the background) to see when it would appear on the Members Birthday list below since there have been problems with it coming up late, one idea was that the time zone set by those experiencing the issue was not to London. As you can see below my timezone is to london and yet the birthday thing is a day out so we can now rule that out. Might be a bug or one of the forum settings is set wrong.

I did some messing around with server timezones (TZ), and have changed it from London to UTC (co-ordinated universal time). I wondered if there was a conflict between my site’s TZ being set to UK time while my server is in the US. I’m not sure if people’s personal TZs (in their forum profiles) would make an added difference but having three different values might have caused confusion. I also disabled and re-enabled the birthdays plugin for good measure.
I changed my profile to have my birthday on today’s date, and it showed up. So I hope it’s fixed.
Now, before others go in to test theirs by choosing today’s date, be aware that the server runs a script at the start of each day to determine whose birthday it is today or in the near future. So if you change your profile it might not show up immediately (or at all if you choose this day). Restarting the plugin made it appear in my case.
A reminder: to set your birthday go here, then look for the Edit Profile button.
I also restarted the PM plugin but I don’t know if that’d fix it. I’m still in the dark about that. Really sorry everyone.

Offline Might be the case that whoever opened the accounts is waiting until its quiet but strange to open so many accounts and then do nothing except reverse the avatars. Weird.
