If not the automatic jump to the top, which is a great idea, then how about moving it from the Getting Better to All Together Now section and pinning it. I would never have thought to look in Getting Better to find it. Ever since the 'Beatles News' thread was created and pinned, the amount of one off posts related to that have went well down to nearly none.

Good idea. I've moved it. The thread is actually already linked to from the welcome email that new users receive. Whether or not they read it isn't up to me...

I'm not asking you to sop talking about it, but could you write some kind of warning so I know to avoid reading it. It's just that I hope to go to one of his concerts and I don't want to know what he'll sing. I didn't find the 'introduce yourself' thread until a few weeks after I joined (I don't think), and I know there have been people who have created new threads or just not introduced themselves.

Hi Joe, I'm wondering if there's any way that the "Introduce Yourself" thread can be modified to automatically bump itself everyday, with the result that it therefore becomes a permanent presence on the main Forum page? That way, new forum members will hopefully notice it and proceed there immediately to give their formal hellos, rather than starting their own brand-new thread to do the same.

Just a suggestion. It'd be nice to have all Forum members on the same page, both literally and figuratively!

Yes. If you're in the blog section there are Previous and Next links just below the map. I should probably make them a bit more prominent if you're not seeing them.

I have to physically put the number in the navigation URL bar thing .. or am I missing something?
