Album of the month for May, Let It Be, is now done: http://www.beatlesbible.com/al…..let-it-be/
As I said before I'm a bit late with this because I've been busy with real-life stuff for the last couple of weeks. Writing about the Get Back/Let It Be sessions was quite tricky too, as it was a complex time.
Anyway, please leave any feedback, or error notifications, in the comments section on the article. I need to add links to people, albums and songs throughout the piece, but I think it's mostly finished. Though I may well have missed out something major – it's nearly midnight on a Friday night and I haven't had any wine yet, so my head's elsewhere…
Now LIB's done, I've got 12 albums of the month in rotation (all the core releases apart from Yellow Submarine). It means I don't have to do anything to keep them looping on the Beatles Bible homepage each month – it's all automated, like Song Of The Day. I'll be finishing off the albums section to write about Anthology, Live At The BBC etc in the future, but now the priority will be to finish the history section.
No, it's nothing to do with Facebook, it's an in-built feature of the forum. If you like something, give it the thumbs up, or thumbs down to lower the score. It won't appear on any other page, nor a Facebook profile or whatever.
I discovered the setting while adding the off-topic section. I don't know if it's worth having, but I thought I'd add it and see whether people use it. It might make it look a bit too cluttered.
I still need to turn those Ringo pics into smileys.

The LIB article was good Joe. I noted a typo on page 2 toward the end of George's Anthology quote: 'and I'm notable to be happy in this situation. I'm getting out of
here. Just need to separate those two words.

Do you mean the latest thread contributions that appear on the front page of the forum? Have they disappeared?
It shows something different if you're logged out – Most Recent Posts as opposed to Most Recent Topics With Unread Posts.
Right now, logged in, I see the various forums with little red conversation bubbles to indicate new posts. So if in the upper right corner it says there are two new posts and I see five red bubbles, I have to guess where those two are.
(go go psychic Ringo)
Hmm. I'm not sure I know the answer to that. Obviously there shouldn't be more than two red bubbles but I don't know why you're seeing more. Sorry.
I don't think it's a very helpful way of displaying unread messages anyway – hopefully the next release of the forum software (coming soon) will have a better interface.

OfflineI have a reoccurring problem. Sometimes the number of unread posts decides to change itself to 0 and the red bubbles disappear, so I don't know which posts I haven't read yet. It seems to do it if I navigate away from the thread rather than going back to the forum first. I don't know, but it's annoying. I had over 20 unread posts and now I don't know which ones they were.

I guess the server wasn't happy yesterday?
I panicked when I saw an error in the server. I need my BeatlesBible fix!
Now I got the Anthology dics 1 and 2 half price, I'm reading the Beatles Bible as companion while listening to them.
I could baffle you with the explanation, but (I think) it's to do with a server failure in a datacentre in Dallas. Due to an outage somewhere, the server couldn't connect the domain name to the site (a DNS issue, for those who know about these things) so all access requests were failing. It certainly gave me a shock when I logged in this morning
It lasted about six hours, so sorry for all those missing their fix in the meantime. My understanding is that this issue shouldn't happen again – though something else inevitably will.

OfflineAnyone else not seeing their posts? I couldn't before, so I cleaned out all the cookies on my computer (it was over due, but I got lazy) and it seems ok now… Hmm. It's a mystery.
Edit: Or maybe not. It's still acting weird and I don't see them unless I log out and log back in. Only, rather than letting me log out, it wanted me to update my profile. I'm sure it will be fixed later.
So, if I'm not the only one, sit tight and think happy thoughts.

It's not only you. I also have this problem.
