No. The forum can't be cached due to issues beyond my control. I'd like to work on reducing the amount of plugins the site uses to speed the whole thing up, but I have very little time at the moment. Sorry it's so slow.
You use an iPod, right? Getting a mobile version is on my to-do list, but I can't promise you when it'll happen. That should speed things up somewhat, as it'd be a stripped-down version without much of the site clutter.

There's some bugginess going on at the moment due to a plugin upgrade that shouldn't have happened (there was an error in the newer version which caused some issues). I'm fixing it right now so if you see a load of code at the top of the page please ignore it.

That error you saw may have been due to a server issue earlier on. I had to reboot a few hours ago because things had stopped. Non-stop fun, this website business.

OK, you may have noticed that the site was offline for a number of hours yesterday. This was due to a server failure, and resulted in the database for the forum going awry.

Hopefully it's fixed now, but please let me know if you're seeing any weirdness.
