Wow! The dark font looks great! I didn't realize that the gray font was hard to read until you changed it.

Prefer the darker font, the difference is a great improvement.

Respect your view of The Official "Choosing Between Two Things" Thread. Merely made the suggestion because Doctor Robert's first line on opening the thread was, "This is a little forum game which is quite fun to play."

I tried to update my online identities by adding my Google+ account. I tried my username and my email address, but neither worked (I clicked on the Google+ button on one of my posts, and it said "404: Webpage error" or something like that). Does anyone know how to fix this?

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Sorry you are going through that. I am sure Joe can look into it while he is not at work…or taking care of his family…or writing his book…or, well you get the idea.

Thanks for your patience!

I'll take a look when I get a moment. I don't have a G+ account so it might be hard to test, but I'll see what I can do.

My computer just installed some updates, so I don't know if it's the site or just my computer, but the font on the site is suddenly different and the buttons (e.g. Add Topic, Add Reply) aren't white; they're silver-ish on the top and it gradually fades to white on the bottom. This same coloring is now on the side of each post where it has the username, avatar, and stats of the poster (it used to be white). And apparently there is now an automatic spellchecker (rather than pressing the button to activate it). Not that any of this is bad; I'm just curious if this has happened to anyone else.

The posts and buttons fading has been like that for a really long time. I never noticed the spell checker, though.

Yeah, I've noticed the silver-ish top on the buttons two, but I've had that for a while. Haven't noticed the automatic spell checker. jkhksdjklsjkdoejfijonehvfohnfc. All right, it works.

For some reason, for me anyway, IE doesnt have the non-fading buttons whilst FF does. No idea if thats because i have compatability viewer deselected in IE (as it ruins the site) or not.

The auto spell checker doesn't work for me – and I use FF. Strange. The fading has always been like that though, I think, well since I've been here, anyway.

I haven't changed anything in recent weeks, so it's likely to be your OS/browser (the spellchecker button – the ABC one – has been here for a while, but a newer browser should be able to flag misspellings automatically).

Buttons may vary in different browsers – the best thing to do is never, ever use IE if at all possible a-hard-days-night-george-10

Very true. I have had great luck with Google Chrome. I opened my old IE by mistake one day last week. I think it is still in 'Not Responding' mode.

My IE doesn't usually malfunction… and when it does, it's usually only really late at night, anyway. I don't know why everyone hates it. I guess I just haven't experienced its problems?

I have FF and Chrome as they are better for a few specific things but for normal everyday web usage its IE, more out of habit and familiarity than anything else. Admittedly at times it does have a heart-attack but that could just as well be down my laptop and kaspersky being right pains.

My avatar is all of a sudden not showing up…anyone know what's up with that?
