@Ahhh Girl suggested we collate links to articles that mention this website. It'd be useful to have them in one place.

It's probably not worth including Wikipedia articles or posts in other forums (eg Steve Hoffman, Reddit). I'm thinking about the big media publications (NYT, Huffington Post etc).

I'll start with this, which popped up in my Twitter feed. A Vanity Fair interview with Giles Martin which links to my A Hard Day's Night opening chord feature.

An enduring Hard Day’s Night mystery is the opening chord of the title song. Can you teach us how to play it?

Well, you need a number of instruments. It’s actually a 12-string electric guitar, an electric guitar, and piano, and bass. People think it’s just, you know, George banging a guitar or John banging a guitar. But the dynamics and the resonances are quite, quite complicated. So, not in the time we have for this Q&A!

You're down with the people at Vanity Fair. If they ever interview Kerry Washington, send Kerry my phone number. a-hard-days-night-george-10

Very cool, Joe.

Side note: the more I read/hear from Giles, the more I like him. He has his dad's sense of humor.george-martin

I'm already going to derail this thread, but I just have to put this stuff here. I did a Google image search for beatlesbible.

Not quite as popular as Jesus. When you click on the picture at this page, it links to the BB.

From this site

Google translate's translation

With The Beatles Bible is there for fans of the Fab Four a comprehensive wiki on the net. The free web service offers to be a versatile source of information on the life and musical legacy of John, Paul, George and Ringo.

The Home of The Beatles Bible is filled with song quotes and sayings of the Beatles band members. In addition, there is a timeline with Beatles stories that celebrate an anniversary on the current day. More Categories illuminate in alternating series key figures of the Beatles environment and current contributions from the fan forum.

In addition, The Beatles Bible contains the lyrics or lyrics published all Beatles songs and discography of the Fab Four, including photos of the original single cover. Other extras like photo gallery, details about albums and songs as well as a fan forum, complete the free Web service.

The Beatles Bible is a great compendium of all sorts of interesting information about the life and music of the Fab Four. For Beatles fans, the Wiki should be something like a kind of religious focal point in the network actually.

Amen!

From the Washington Post blog:

On Aug. 8, 1969, freelance photographer Iain MacMillan stood on a stepladder in the middle of the road near EMI Studios in London and snapped six photos of the Beatles walking through a zebra crossing.

The Beatles Bible is mentioned many times in the reference section in Joshua Shenk's book Powers of Two: Finding the Essence of Innovation in Creative Pairs

Scroll through the notes section in Google books.

Here's a sample

Buzzfeed: 66 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About The Beatles

6. During their lengthy stints of playing to drunk sailors and prostitutes day and night in Hamburg between 1960 and 1962, The Beatles (unknowingly) once ate horse for their Christmas dinner.

9. During a 56-night residency in 1960 at Hamburg’s Kaiserkeller, the band played four sets every day – 7.30–9pm, 9.30–11pm, 11.30pm–1am, and 1.30–2am – seven days a week.

22. The Beatles re-recorded “She Loves You” and “I Want To Hold Your Hand” for the German market as “Sie Liebt Dich” and “Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand” in Paris in January 1964.
