Sorry. I'm not sure why that is.
We had to make some server changes on Wednesday because the site got mentioned on Reddit and traffic went through the roof (about 100x what I'd normally get in a day). Some parts of the site are currently being served up from a slightly different domain. Do you happen to know if the button was working before Wednesday but not after then?
I'll see if I can troubleshoot it here.

To the best of my knowledge, it was working OK prior to Wednesday. The "film strip" icon is not responding either. When you click on either one, the box pops up, but is empty. Hope that helps.
I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but each time I log in, my "Inbox" icon shows I have 1 new PM when there are none. Along that same line, the number of new PM's I do have is increased by 1 (example: 2 new PM's appears as 3).
Minor details at worst. Still the best site on the planet.
Into the Sky with Diamonds will have to confirm whether or not it is the best site in the cosmos.

Ive got a problem when i click on the link box, the box itself appears but there is nothing else, nowhere to put in the link. It may just be my computer but with the issues mentioned above its worth the mention.

OK, glad to be at the top of the cosmos. The popup problems should also be fixed (it's what I thought it was). Glad the natural harmony of the universe is restored once again.
I've no idea about the PM thing though. I get that too. The PMs are set to exprire after 365 days, I think – I added the limit in the hope that it would eventually fix the weirdness, though I can't remember the start date. Sorry, no idea. The Simple Press forum help site now (over)charges for access, so I can't ask help questions there either.

Popups seem to be working fine, Joe. Also, I emptied out my PM Inbox (something I have been meaning to do anyway) and it cleared up the issue. Thanks as always.

Have just posted in the Song Fragments thread and the post is awaiting administration which suprised me. Thinking it was to do with the link i removed it yet the post is still awaiting moderation (i stuck the link back in because it failed to pass). The posts that are getting pulled up, not just by me, havent contained anything close to malicious. I know this is to do with the issue of spambots (no one wants a pile of crap appearing on the site advertising who knows what) so is it down to posting too quickly or just one of those things?

I don't know. As I mentioned elsewhere, this site uses a spam prevention tool called Akismet, which occasionally flags up false positives (ie genuine messages it thinks is spam). I use it right across the site, not just here in the forum, and it generally works well. Normally I just have to approve the flagged-up message manually, but it might take me a day or two before I spot them.

I look for them as well. Joe already knows this, but in case the other Mods don't, I can spot them in the "New/Recently Updated Topics" drop-down menu above as the text for that particulatr topic will be red when there is a post within awaiting moderation.
I don't log in as often on weekends so we do appreciate your patience if you have a post that needs to be fixed.

Has there been an update to the site? Some things seem to have been moved and boxes are squarer (which makes it look nicer). However the reply box has shrunk (its half the size it was) and the text toolbar has gone?

Its just appeared on mine the last 2 days. Hmmmm….
All the boxes that do commands look different (add topic, add reply, submit reply etc).
Oh just realised im getting code when editing posts but i cant show it as it disappears when posting so the code for opening and closing paragraphs.
