I really like the 'George Harrison' album. The thing with George is he always put his emotions and feelings into what he was writing and always felt that he wanted his music to have meaning that would stand up through time. He did write some witty tunes as well but the bulk of his material always had a meaning to them I that is why I have always appreciated ...

"Dark Sweet Lady" is indeed beautiful on first listen, wonderful use of seventh chords. I always meant to get George's self-titled album: I've heard many times it's one of his best, but I was put off by some other post-ATMP material I own; was disappointed with a lot of Living In The Material World, and Extra Texture, which is largely insipid.
