Oh a tea party sounds good. Is the the tea from Mightly Leaf? I bought some and it's very nice.

Yeah, they told me it was from Mighty Leaf. I liked it, too. Best tea!

Tea-party went great! I cried, though, when we sung and played Here Comes The Sun on Beatles Rockband. I miss George so:(

Awesome, awesome, awesome.  So glad you had a chance to celebrate George's birthday in a way that was meaningful to you, Sunii!

Question for the forum: how are you celebrating GH's birthday?

I'll be at school- joyous!

Though, I'll listen to him when I first wake up, and do *ahem* PG-rated things to the picture I have of him hanging in my room. Wink Happy birthday Mr. President…

So what PG things were you doing??? LOLlaugh

The guitar shaped typography is pretty sweet. It's hard to see that in your avatar. Thanks for sharing!

Sunii – glad to hear the tea party went well and that you like the Beatles Blend. I'm enjoying a cup right now. ;)

George's birthday is the same day as my Nan's. I'm not sure how old she is but she was born the same year as the Queen so very old!

Personally I have always valued the anniversary of the death of George and John
But this is the most important Guitarist in the History of Rock and Roll

Yeah, we all know he'd probably hate this sort of thing, but at the same time, it has to be nice for him to know how he is still well-loved here.

I'm excited because last year I had heard about this rememberance for him on the 25th of February at Capitol Records, but I couldn't attend

it. It turns out though, that it is an annual thing:

I think I'm going to see if I can make my way down there this Friday.

Awww, a 17! :)

Holy cats! I can hardly believe it's almost George's birthday again! I remember George's birthday last year. I commemorated it by drawing pictures of guitars all over my papers at school.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

We can use this thread to let others know what we will be doing to remember George on Friday.

I will be out of town, but I'm packing my "George" pint glass that is part of a set I got for Christmas.

I've vowed to only drink a toast from the glasses on their respective Birthdays. Georgie boy will be the first!

On George's birthday, Concert for George will be streaming on his website. It's all day thing. Check his website for more details.

Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.
