OnlineIve booked tickets to the showing in Glasgow on the 4th October. Starts at 1/2 6 in the evening, is in 2 parts with a 30 minute break, has a running time of 3 hours 28 minutes, and i have no idea how i will get home (i stay 25 miles from Glasgow in the middle of nowhere and i dont drive).
I too am excited.
I saw Yellow Submarine on the big screen when it was reissued and that was fab so seeing this should be just as good, far better than on the tv.

OnlineHave also discovered that i saw a reissue of A Hard Days Night in the cinema which i had forgetten all about. I found the ticket stub for the yellow submarine screening in amongst old beatles newspapers. The price on the ticket was £1.80! No idea why it was that cheap

I've done the same for the London viewing! Mine doesn't start until 8:15, so I won't be getting home until at least 1am. Totally worth it.

OnlineFrom what the theatre is saying the screening should be really busy. Their advice is get there around 30 minutes early if picking up tickets to avoid long queing. Really good to hear as the film deserves to be seen as does Georges story.

You could sign up for HBO for a few days then cancel your order. They should pro-rate it. Of course, you will need a cable box.

Actually, that sounds like a good if devious idea.

OfflineWell, tonight's the night. Well, for some. But really, for me, tonight's special. My father's returning from a business trip, and his birthday was yesterday, so to tonight's a party. Oh, but I must hurry – my substitute is making the rounds. Neil, thanks.
