Inner Light - you might enjoy While My Guitar Gently Weeps by Simon Leng. He mentions quite a bit about the Dark Horse tour (and George's entire post-Beatles career). It's a good book.
"If there's something in the way, we move it" was another line he sang. The tour became known as Dark Hoarse because his voice was shot.

Too young (7 yo) to have seen those shows, but you're pretty lucky to have attended even once, let alone twice! It really is too bad about George's throat at the time - the first US tour by an ex-Beatle could never avoid being a huge media event.

Getting back on track, I would like to know what everyone who saw the 1974 concert thought as a whole. I enjoyed the Indian section and the jazzed up songs. If I want to hear the studio versions, I will play the album.

Also wanted to hear some reviews regarding the 'Dark Horse' album. This was not my favorite but I like it more now than I did when it came out and most of the reviews are more favorable regarding this album now.

Ah, OK. I didn't know if it was just a one off thing, or if it was a repeat performance. What did John think of it when he heard George changed the lyrics? He couldn't have been happy.

I don't think there's any laws regarding copywrite infringement for mere performances, unless George made live recordings and offered them for sale. Otherwise it's pretty much unenforceable - and John would look like a jerk if HE did try to sue, if you ask me! Now, if George (or anybody) recorded a legit version and changed a word or two - I still don't know how tht works, whether granting someone permission to record one's copywrited song gives them implicit permission to rearrange it how they see fit, or not. I never went to see it myself, but is this the one where he changed "In My Life" so he sang "In my life, I love God more"? With that being a Lennon (McCartney) song, how could he do that and not get into legal trouble? Did he?

It seems that the 'Dark Horse' album has had more favorable reviews over the last few years than when it was released in November of 1974. I saw George in concert twice during the Dark Horse Tour and loved the show. I think we all know that he had lost his voice and re-arranged some of the Beatles classics that irritated a lot of fans and he jazzed up most of the songs and had the Indian section with Ravi Shankar.
