Is there a thread about the lyrics and their meanings? Like certain words and phrases, or general “what could this be about?” type stuff? I love all the different views and learning new things about the songs.

Offline A good few years ago someone posted about a couple (or three) [crime] novels that he/she had written that were set in the 1960’s with the Beatles influencing the background times. Anyone have any idea where the thread is as I was thinking of seeing if I could hunt down a copy.

Offline ^ Those are William Shaw books- they’re very good. I’ve read the first 2 and I have the 3rd on my shelves. He’s coming out with another one later this year as well because he didn’t want to abandon the characters 😛
The books are:
A Song from Dead Lips
A House of Knives
A Book of Scars
The Beatles feature heavily in the first book (John actually appears in it and George is mentioned quite often- they interview some Apple Scruffs in the case), not so much in the 2nd and I have yet to read the 3rd but I’ll get around to it sometime this summer…hopefully.
