Good Dog Nigel. Arf, Arf, he goes, a merry sight. Our little hairy friend. Arf, Arf, upon the lampost bright, arfing around the bend. Nice dog! Goo boy, waggie tail and beg. Clever Nigel, jump for joy Because we're putting you to sleep at three of the clock, Nigel. -John Lennon "In His Own Write"

Eric Clapton on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Love the song, and love the guitar in it!

Their singing, songwriting, eclecticism, experimentalism and chemistry: that's what made them the best.

John felt that he could've sung "Oh! Darling" better than Paul. What song do you think would've been better served by a different lead singer?

I remember George saying 'Blimey, he's always talking about “Yesterday”, you'd think he was Beethoven or somebody' - Paul McCartney

I had a friend who played Paul in Beatlemania on Broadway and I used to jam (sing) with him when he did individual club dates inNew York. I loved singing "If I Fell" or "Please, Please Me" with him...Love how those harmonies work in those songs.

What one moment of the Beatles history would you like to have witnessed first hand?

Answer: One After 909

Question: Least favorite non-Beatles person? (Mal, Neil, Brian, Sir George, Magic Alex, wife, child, etc...)

Edit: Seaglass beat me. Hey Jude, to your question. A 2 minute coda would be fine, Paul.
Best concert? (Or, which concert of the full group would you have wanted to attend? For me, even though this doesn't matter, it would have to be Maple Leafs Garden in 1964.)

I would have wanted to attend one of their concerts/shows in Germany before they recorded Please Please Me and before their shows became routine. If not then probably Stockholm, Sweden '63 or Washington '64 when they were trying to make an impression on a new audience.

Which non album opener would have been a really good lp starter?

In response to Meanmistermustard's question, I think it would have been cool if Carry That Weight was the opener for Abbey Road and maybe put Come Together where SCITTBW is on the album, put SCITTBW where Carry That Weight is, put Yellow Submarine in as a substitute for Because, and then make I Want You (She's So Heavy) into I Want You Because She's So Heavy (just mix those two songs together). I would like that.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but what is one nowadays song that you think would sound good if done by The Beatles? (my answer for my question is Sexy And I Know It because I like McC II and it's kind of similar.)
