I've been on the internet hearing rumors that Ringo played some guitar in his days so I thought I'd take a look:

I know there's more but that was the most interesting of all of them. Not sure if that's before or after (or during 😀 ) the beatles. Please, if you find any, post them here.

Some weird guitars the beatles used, One's a 1966 Vox Kensington, a 12 String Strat (?), and a different Hofner. Maybe Ringo messed around on one of them:

What model is the one that looks like it belongs in a Salvador Dalí painting?

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Probably the one with barbed wire strings!

Mr. Big, have you ever heard Ringo's “Early 1970”?:

     I play guitar, A – D – E,

I don't play bass 'cause it's too hard for me,

     I play piano if it's in C!

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Actually, that's where I got the idea from. Since he made that song he's learned more guitar from George and Paul.

I read (or heard [or saw on Anthology {or something like that}]) that he only knew three chords as well… and a little piano. That's how he wrote Don't Pass Me By. a-hard-days-night-ringo-9How proud of little Rich we are!

This is a wow revelation! But it only makes sense. Being with other people that played guitar he probably wanted to expand his horizons to something other than percussion.

When I went to see him in concert, he played come guitar and piano. Even in the program, it shows him on the guitar in a pic.

I salute the lady who screamed "I love you Paul!" at a tribute band's concert.

I always thought Ringo was left handed, but in all the pictures i've seen of him playing guitar he's playing like a right handed person would.

Ringo is completely ambidextrous, ie. can use either hand.

Kinda like me shooting pool. I'm right handed but can only shoot pool left handed.

A few days ago I just discovered that I feel more comfortable playing guitar with my left hand, and I'm right handed. a-hard-days-night-ringo-13
