I got a poster from my dad back in 98 i think. He bought it for $10 from this old hippie that lived up the street. I am a fan of the Beatles (who isn't) so i was really excited about it. Here is the issue, I know nothing about this poster. I have looked for another one like it and never seen one. I don't know the posters name or what it was promoting (if anything) because there are no numbers, or words anywhere on it, front or back!
About 2 years ago, I came across a store in a mall in Kansas City that sold all sorts of memorabilia. Low and behold, there was my poster…. the exact same one! I asked for the owner, i needed to know anything about it. She called me a few days later and said that it wasn't for sale, but she would tell me about it. She said that she bought it at an auction for $3,800 and that it was pretty rare. She said that it was to promote Abbey Road , but it doesn't look like any other Abbey Road pics that I've ever seen. That makes me question this woman's knowledge.
I wonder, does anyone here know anything about it?!?! Oh, and did I mention that it is big? nearly 3' by 5'!!

I haven't seen that poster, and I'm afraid I can't help you about getting info. Maybe Joe (our admin) knows or someone else…
