Thanks! My eyes are actually pretty bad though. I'm supposed to wear glasses, but it's been around two years since I have. I'm on my iPod right now, so maybe that makes it easier, although I don't know why it would.

Here's an interesting piece by our very own Pauly! It reminds me of an abstracted cityscape, but the initial inspiration was actually music chords… a-hard-days-night-paul-11

…and a couple by Ringo. a-hard-days-night-ringo-15

I really enjoy the alignment of the face in this one and his colorfully graphic style. It's actually kind of ironic that the subject of the work is smiling when you take into consideration the almost saddened eyes and the bold statement of "HELP" in the background.

This next one is childishly captivating. I love how he was able to use such a fun style to create such a serious piece. The man looks scared to me…Again, the point of view is simply fantastic. Ringo really knew how to place his compositions.

Sorry I've posted so continuously, but I find this thread extraordinarily addicting since I love art so much. You made a great topic, Kedame! a-hard-days-night-ringo-10

Here's a few from Stu (how could we forget…?). I never realized how diverse of an artist he was…

That's fine! Post as much as you want. I have a whole book of Paul's paintings and a small book of Ringo's art from one of his concerts. Paul has some very cool paintings of weird faces and some great Celtic looking stuff. Ringo's faces are simple, but I find them delightful. And he gives all the proceeds from sales to charity. Lovely…

Have you ever come across any of the drawings from Paul's school notebooks? He really is a great artist. He uses simple lines to make wonderfully expressive faces, mostly profiles. He changes just the mouth, or just the nose, or eyes on a lot of them. I'll see if I can find a few to post later.

Then, there's this:

I love how Paul's portion of the painting looks like a vagina. Lol…typical for horndog McCartney. Ringo's section is actually my favorite. It reminds be of Dr. Seuss's illustrations.

1966 in Japan when they were hoped up in the hotel. There is another by just John and Paul out there somewhere. I'd find it, but I'm on my kindle.

This is the most beautiful portrait I've ever seen of Yoko…

This is just cool. And to think such a graphic piece was made using watercolor and ink…

I love that potrait of Yoko. She looks so young and innocent.

…and extraordinarily beautiful, which--unfortunately--isn't a word used to commonly describe her. But no one can deny how gorgeous she looks in this portrait, eh?

Definitely not. When I saw it I thought of Snow White.

I love your signature, by the way. (So much so that I have used it as my status on facebook). When did he say that, do you know?

There are some photos where Yoko is absolutely beautiful. There are some where she just looks like an average human being.

Exactly my point, Kedame. I think she's a beautiful woman--no doubt. It's just the majority of our oftentimes cruel-hearted society would sometimes like you to think otherwise. That's why I like that portrait so much: it's like the artist was making a similar statement.

I agree completely.  Yoko is so maligned, but she really is much better looking than the "average person."  I suspect how people saw her at the time may have had a lot to do with her art, her boyish loose clothing, and her race.  I hate that.

And that picture of her is great!

Love that picture of Yoko.
Her hair looks so beautiful…it actually looks a lot like my hair! Well, maybe mine is shorter, but the point is that I have a lot of hair.
