This is the most beautiful portrait I've ever seen of Yoko…

This is just cool. And to think such a graphic piece was made using watercolor and ink…

I love that potrait of Yoko. She looks so young and innocent.

…and extraordinarily beautiful, which--unfortunately--isn't a word used to commonly describe her. But no one can deny how gorgeous she looks in this portrait, eh?

Definitely not. When I saw it I thought of Snow White.

I love your signature, by the way. (So much so that I have used it as my status on facebook). When did he say that, do you know?

There are some photos where Yoko is absolutely beautiful. There are some where she just looks like an average human being.

Exactly my point, Kedame. I think she's a beautiful woman--no doubt. It's just the majority of our oftentimes cruel-hearted society would sometimes like you to think otherwise. That's why I like that portrait so much: it's like the artist was making a similar statement.

I agree completely.  Yoko is so maligned, but she really is much better looking than the "average person."  I suspect how people saw her at the time may have had a lot to do with her art, her boyish loose clothing, and her race.  I hate that.

And that picture of her is great!

Love that picture of Yoko.
Her hair looks so beautiful…it actually looks a lot like my hair! Well, maybe mine is shorter, but the point is that I have a lot of hair.
A LOT of hair.

Here is my only Beatle full on piece so far… my John piece from the Let It Be cover.

John Lennon

Here is my quick cartoon sketch of John and Yoko also.. done just before Christmas.

Happy Xmas - War Is Over copyrightGregART2012

The first one is a complex affair, done in my usual style of ink on paper, with a rOtring Isograph pen (0.1mm nib). I use dotwork (pointillism) for different greyscale saturations.. and linework for other aspects.. such as the individually stranded hair.

It's then finished with a grey colour was with a Prismacolor pencil crayon, and the White Feather was put there separately by me as a respect thing due to the White Feather thing between John and Julian.

Peace.

A girl named Fiona Fu does some amazing stuff.  The only thing is that it's mostly John and Paul "slashy" stuff.  I like her art and would like to use some to design my next tattoo, but it's hard to find pictures of all 4 Beatles, and also pictures that are.. appropriate.  ahdn_paul_02

Anyways, here are some tame versions of what she does.  a-hard-days-night-john-6

Huge fan of Fiona. She does stuff from my favorite Paul 67-68 period. She also did the 70th birthday tribute to Paul that was posted earlier.
