Liam Gallagher formally from Oasis (Beatle cop-out) has said he wanted to produce a movie based off the book "The Longest Cocktail Party" by Richard DiLello. So far there is a script and he is looking at Johnny Depp to play Derek Taylor.

First off, has anyone read the book? I looked for the book at Barnes and Noble once but was told it was discontinued. So hopefully one of you got a chance to read it.

Second, Johnny Depp as Derek? Don't remember much other than it was half really interesting and half filler. The interesting half was all about how money was flying out of Apple - at the time the book came out no one really knew as much as we do now so it was rather shocking.
