The 2 arguments are :

  1. I don't remember that happened. Well, if something is happening in your living room and you don't see it, it doesn't mean it didn't happen. So maybe these guys were not with Paul and John when they talked. I mean, they actually claim they can't remember who or what they did. So the thing would be, who actually witnessed Paul and John's first meeting?
  2.
