I have a vivid recollection of TOTP playing a 'film' to a Beatles track.

The 'film' featured a couple in an open-topped sports car. They stop of at al lake (or river) and take a swim.

Trouble is, I cannot remember the name of the track - could have been Daytripper or even Here Comes The Sun but I am not sure.

Never seen this 'film' since so I wonder if anyone here can also remember it.

Thanks !

I can't help much (sorry) but I know it couldn't have been Here Comes The Sun since it was never released as a single so wouldn't have been on TOTP.

When was this episode of TOTP? I'm assuming it was from the 60s.

Hi DB83 - welcome to the forum!

If you can give me an approximate year, I'll see if I can look it up. No guarantees, mind.

My best guess on this would be between 1966 and 1968/9. Not much help I know.

Sorry, I've had a look but drew a blank on this. Hopefully someone else will stumble upon it and provide enlightenment.

Sorry, What is TOPT?

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition. John Lennon

Top of the Pops I believe.

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Thanks for looking. I suspect this is one of those images that will live in my mind.

Strange though that none can even just picture it without knowing the full details. But I will swear that this is what I saw
