Update: Olivia is releasing a book of never-before seen pictures of George with a foreward written by Scorsese. The book is also called Living In a Material World.

"Scheduled to be published this autumn to coincide with the release of Martin
Scorsese's documentary of the same name, the deal was negotiated by Abrams' editor-in-chief, Eric Himmel, and Andrew Wylie of The Wylie Agency."

So the movie is coming out in the fall.  We are getting somewhere folks!

Fall? Maybe just in time for my birthday! I wonder if I made my friends sit down for 3 hours to watch a George documentary, they'd forgive me as I'd consider it their present? Heh.

I have a feeling that if this is coming out in the fall, it would come out around George's 10th anniversary of his death. It would make sense.

Looking forward to this, even though Scorsese hasn't made a movie I've loved since "Casino". "The Departed" was pretty good, but I really don't know what the hell he sees in DiCaprio, aside from his bankability maybe. Dude's certainly no DeNiro nor Keitel.

(I really should attempt to see "No Direction Home" one of these days)
