So I was searching on netflix today and found this movie. I have feelings about this but I really want to know what the rest of you think of it.
If you are talking about the movie: 'Paul McCartney Really Is Dead! (The Last Testament Of George Harrison?) This movie is nothing but rubbish.
I would not waste my time with this. When I was in High School back in the early 70's, I did a presentation of all the clues on the Beatles album covers and in the songs. That was interesting. This movie takes things a little too far. I used to tell all my friends that if Paul died in 1966 and was replaced by an impostor, then the impostor is more talented.
There are so many other DVD's out there that you would enjoy more. I would not waste my time.

OfflineI got sent a review copy. I sat down and took notes, and about an hour in I'd filled both sides of a sheet of A4 noting all the inaccuracies. I then turned it off and did something more rewarding with my life.
It's obviously fiction, but I found it quite insulting and hurtful. The idea that George dictated this fantasy stuff on his deathbed is really unnecessary, and it was clearly a cynical attempt to make a quick buck. I didn't bother writing the review – it didn't deserve the publicity. Whoever made it was a bunch of chancers.

OfflineJust by seeing the title of the movie I know I wouldn't watch it. (Maybe if it was a comedy making fun of the really far-fetched clues, I would.) I sometimes look at the clues on youtube for fun, but if they are trying to make money off a dead person, that's just sick. I wouldn't waste my time, but who knows, I haven't seen it.

I wonder if Harrison's state might consider legal actions

OfflineWould Olivia and Dhani sue? They could probably get a defamation case, or something else (It all depends where they would sue, in what the case is considered). But the big question is, Would They? I say no.

OfflineWhat really irritates me is that iTunes is selling this DVD in the iTunes music store for $14.99 to buy and $3.99 to rent.
I would think since they secured the entire Beatles catalog which is an honor to have, that they would be more selective regarding titles they make available especially when it involves the Fab Four.

They are selling It? Money speaks louder than words, I guess.

I know. I am really surprised. I love iTunes. I have 16,000 songs in my library but sometimes they make stupid decisions.
