I don't know if you can wish a happy birthday to an event, but…

Happy 43rd Birthday to the Our World broadcast. I was only 3 1/2 years old so I don't have any memories of it.

Anyone care to share theirs??

I have been curious as to what the other countries presented. I wouldn't want to follow The Beatles.

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Is there a video of the entire broadcast?  That would be sweet.

I'm still curious about who else was in the little audience there besides Pattie, Jane, some of the Stones, etc. and whether or not the rest of them were celebrities then, or just people who got lucky. a-hard-days-night-paul-2

I'm in love, but I'm lazy.

I was a 7-month old foetus so I remember even less!

I've never seen the entire original broadcast but I did use an audio recording of Steve Race's introduction and some of the prelimiinaries to introduce "All You Need is Love" on Side Three of "Alternate Hystery Tour" which I'll upload shortly…

Thanks Von!

I Googled the event and some sites vaguely refer to a movie of it, but I don't see it for sale anywhere. To your knowledge, is/was there a documentary available?

I've never heard of a full documentary, but footage of The Beatles' bit gets shown as part of other docs now and then. I'd imagine a lot of the other countries' contributions were pretty bad.

Please don't spoil my day; I'm miles away
