I don't remember if I posted about this movie or not, but I really liked it the first time I saw it. I don't know what all the fuss is about, but I can imagine it wouldn't be as good on a black and white TV, which is how it was first seen.

I really love movies that have no plot and are just funny and bizarre like this. My favorite scene is the "Death Cab For Cutie" performance just because the song is so awesome and it is so random.

My favorite scene in that movie was with that little girl and John and George on the bus. The movie should not be taken seriously. I started screaming I first watched it because I didn't get it. I saw it again and just laughed. It's an absurd film. But it's the Beatles doing what they do best: being creative.

I agree with everything in this post.

Also, I'm glad people invented censored blocks.

I think that a "Yellow Submarine" with actual Beatle voices (and maybe the faithful Victor Spinetti doing the voice of the Chief Blue Meanie!) would possibly be my favourite Beatles movie of all! Especially if they managed to work in a sequence mixing an actual live-action Beatles performance with their animated versions playing horns and whatnot.

Yeah I agree with you on that. I probably would've liked YS a lot more if they had done their own voices. I'm not too crazy about MMT either though. It COULD'VE been a lot better than it is, really.

One time I watched this movie and then "Yellow Submarine" right after, and I can say that I actually MMT more than YS. If the Beatles actually voiced their characters in YS and had funnier parts, it would have been better. Whenever I watch MMT, i'm like "Hey dad, let's watch a movie!" and he's like "Okay! What movie?" and I say "Magical Mystery Tour, of course!" and he says, "Oh, nooo". He's a big Beatles fan like me but he really doesn't like MMT.

For me, =rand.old(number, number) generates the sentence you got, and =rand(number, number) generates the Word instructions.

Try =lorem(number, number) and translate it! (See my post above yours.)

And I think the text that appears is sample text so whoever is using Word can see what the text will look like when they finish typing whatever they're typing.

How strange. I got "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" numberous times depending on the values i put in in the brackets. I presume its some kind of test to ensure that all the letters of the English album are present and correct.

Maybe it's because I first saw it on a grainy VHS copy my uncle had in the late 1980s, but I've always been a fan of that absurd/nonsensical British humor like Monty Python, and MMT in a way paves the way for that. Plus the music kicks ass!
