Those last couple of points are very Neil Aspinall era, if that means anything. Since he left Apple and Jeff Jones took over as CEO they've been WAY more proactive in reissuing material. Aspinall basically said no to everything apart from Anthology, Live At The BBC and Yellow Submarine for 30 years. I suspect we'll see LIB next year - if for no other reason, they'll want it out before everyone stops buying optical discs and the market shrinks.

I doubt its going to be out in 2013 piggies. The title of the thread was based on a comment by Michael Lindsay-Hogg but the ultimate decision has to be complete agree from Paul, Yoko, Olivia and Ringo. Yoko would probably release anything if she could spin it to make Johns image remain intact and herself look great - tho that might be hard with the Let It Be film. As for the other 3 i dont think they want to go back there (Olivia keeping George's views).

Shame for the fans and hopefully im wrong.

No real surprise and would he tell us if there were anyway.

Ringo also discussed new projects. "“Everything that the Beatles ever did, that we were involved in, is out. What isn't out?” But asked about all the Beatles' unreleased concerts on bootlegs, he said, “Well, there's the Hollywood Bowl, Shea, what else is there?"".

I completely disagree. The DVDs of AHDN, Help! and YS have been around for years. As far as I know only the first of those has been issued on Blu-Ray, and even then I don't think it's available here in the UK – you have to import it. They're missing a trick by not reissuing these films – and the promo films, the Maysles movie, Shea Stadium etc.

And if they're going to re-release AHDN, H! and YS, it's the (post-Aspinall) Apple way to come up with an elaborate reissue plan rather than just put them out. There'll be a whole ...

It would also be interesting to see the outtakes and extra footage . However, I'm siding with meanmistermustard, as I don't think it will be released soon. I think the time that it will be released is when - shiver- all the Beatles are gone.

You could make the argument that it kinda makes Paul et al look retroactively worse by keeping this stuff under wraps - like they think they have something to hide, rather than just "Hey, we were young men then and full of ego, but we're over it now and consequently have no problem with presenting all this stuff." It's not like the potential audience - us - isn't already aware of whatever unpleasantness may be on display.
