I don't think I'll get this, unless I see it going cheap somewhere.

I still haven't watched all the extras on my copy of AHDN and I got it last Christmas :P

The Germans got it right - no surprises there, they also have a four disc special edition (source: Wogblog).

There's quite the little comments list growing from a premature review on Amazon UK's page for the AHDN blu ray/DVD.
Not started by or including me, I hasten to add, but I still agree wholeheartedly with the consensus (i.e. the cover is god-awful).

The official site for the 4K re-release of A Hard Day's Night is now up, listing the sites of upcoming screenings in the US and Vancouver. [x-posted to the news thread]

The Beatles' official FB page has links to the UK and US screenings of AHDN starting with the special preview with Richard Lester on July 3. [x-posted to the news 50th thread]

No Glasgow screening and getting back from Edinburgh that late at night would be almost impossible.

Factoring in travel as well as accommodation, food etc and it would be getting into the realms of silly for a film i've seen so many times already. Maybe Glasgow will be added in time.

There has been a change made to the UK cover. Essentially just a switch from colour to black & white, but a step in the right direction. Perhaps Second Sight are taking note of the grumbling.

10 Things You Didn't Know About 'A Hard Day's Night' (actually you probably do) courtesy of Wogblog.

Footage of The Beatles in Liverpool for the première of the film (contained in the first link but nice to have out-with)

Oh, here's the '82 & '64 trailers and footage from the London première.

Wonder if i can get everyone on here based in the US suspended just for a few weeks so i dont read all this Beatle stuff you lot are going to.a-hard-days-night-john-6 Its great that everyone is going to see Ringo, Paul and everything else (Parlance seeing Denny Laine etc) but its miserable being in the UK with nothing aside from a screening of AHDN that is too far to go and see if being sensible and practicle.

I'm close to having a major tantrum!!

I want to see Ringo and Paul!!a-hard-days-night-ringo-14paul-mccartney

I'm glad you have a futon where I can crash for a few hours between the concert and the movie. I am pumped.

The software Joe uses for the forum does have a "suspend account" feature. You might have to @ him to put it into play. I don't want to get in trouble for using it.
