        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>I picked the DVD up @ Sams Club over the weekend and watched all 4 episodes.  It was kind of weird because the initial episodes seemed to favor Paul throughout.  It seemed they paid no attention to John until the September 1965 show, and then John was forgetting the words to Help!.  George and Paul seemed to be singing the background vocals louder to try and get John back on track.  Too funny.  What was sad, was that Ringo got to sing a song and George never got to.  Paul even got a solo!  I would have liked to seen George sing a couple songs.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Well the .1 aspect would just be the bass frequencies. As for the five other channels, I guess they could try and isolate the vocals and put them in the middle. I&#039;m not sure what else they could do.</p>
<p>I think they were in part relying on camera-mounted microphones while recording the first show. Listen to how the drums get louder at the nine-minute mark:</p>

<p>As a kid I remember seeing the show every Sunday night (well after the Beatles&#039; appearances I&#039;m afraid) thinking there was a lot of bad acts.</p>
<p>As for the commercials, thank God for inventing the DVR. Still, I think it would be hilarious to compare today&#039;s advertisements to those long ago - maybe an advert for Pan-Am airlines or some other non-existent company.</p>
